studio Coordinator

Onyx Studio is looking for a vibrant, personable & creative professional to assist our team with reception responsibilities as well as direct marketing and studio needs. This dynamic role includes but is not not limited to: Welcoming ALL clients both with and without appointments as first priority, qualifying & assessing client needs, followed by appointment scheduling with the Sale & Design team, knowledge of basic pricing & product information, managing our sample checks & balances system to include sample inventory, tracking, & delivery/pick-up, as well as general studio upkeep & merchandising. Additionally, this role requires light assistance with Marketing, specific to collaboration with our Social Media team by aiding in content creation and other loose marketing needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish a warm and welcoming environment for clients and visitors.

  • Represent the Onyx Studio brand professionally.

  • Determine client needs and facilitate the appointment schedule with our sales/design team.

  • Welcome appointment attendees and prepare meeting space followed by clean up post selection meetings.

  • Put away returned samples to the studio floor and share notes with the sales team per any project updates.

  • Provide basic pricing and product knowledge to assist visitors prior to an appointment.

  • Manage the sample system for the studio: Including checkout, tracking & return of samples as well as ordering, and organization of the sample storage space, while purging discontinued items.

  • Package and ship introductory sample kits to trade professionals.

  • Package and ship samples to remote/out of state clients.

  • Assist the sales team with delivery & pick up of samples that are to be returned to the studio from local client trade professionals.

  • Label & sticker new samples/boards and merchandise for display.

  • Basic studio upkeep: watering plants, sanitizing meeting tables, spot dusting display shelves, sweeping/mopping entrance and floors as needed.

  • Receive and inspect UPS/FEDEX and LTL shipments delivered to the studio.

  • Assist the sales team with the re-merchandising schedule to keep the studio fresh and accessible including front window display scheduled updates & removing discontinued merchandise.

  • Occasional assist to our Logistics team with tasks associated with warehouse operations including but not limited to receiving & inspecting shipments when needed into the studio.

  • Schedule & content collaboration with our Social Media team, to include content creation, IE flat lays & vendor social collabs, collecting installation images, etc.

  • Other loose marking responsibilities include rare but occasional website updates, coordinating & executing marketing materials & samples as needed, and event coordination as needed.

  • Follow Onyx Studio policies and procedures.

SKILLS

SCHEDULE
Onyx Studio showroom hours are M - F, 9am to 5pm, and by appointment only on the weekends.

Job Type: Full-time in studio (40 hours). This role is not for remote seeking applicants.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • Starting Pay: $22 - $24.00 per hour based on experience.
